Basics
- Oven Temperature: 375°
- Bake Time: 10 - 12 minutes
Preparation
Oat Mixture
- Mix together
- 2 cup flour
- 2 1/2 cup rolled oats (quick)
Base
Room temperature for egg and butter
If eggs are little, use 2 or if too dry to keep together add a sprinkle of water
- Cream well:
- 1 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. soda
- 1 t. vinegar
- Add:
- 1 large egg
- Cream again
- Add oat mixture a little at a time
- roll desired thickness
- oiled cookie sheet
