Creamy Cornstarch Custard

Preparation

  1. Mix well in saucepan:
    • 1/3 cup cornstarch
    • 2/3 cup sugar
    • 1/2 t. salt
    • 2 eggs
  2. Add:
    • 3 1/2 cup milk
  3. Cook until boiling
  4. Add:
    • 1 t. vanilla
    • 2 T butter
  5. Remove from heat
